Platini

Platini may have been one of the greatest football players of all time, but this World Cup sees him in a different capacity, criticising the French government for its neglect of the Air France strike and the damage it has wreaked on the tournament. I drew him here with the emphasis on his large, spherical eyes, trained on a far-off object -- perhaps a ball as it soars through the sky -- and a long, slender nose, pointing straight to the goal on the other side of the field.
