Yasser ArafatThe lines that make up Palestinian President Arafat's face remind me of a connect-the-dots game gone slightly wrong, spun into a vortex of confusion. The whirlpool of Palestinian politics seems to suck him deeper at every turn, but he always surfaces at the last minute, borne to safety on the gentle eddies of a moment of respite.
