Yeltsin

Yeltsin

As Yeltsin flounders and flounces, he reminds me of a slowly melting snowman, or a roughly kneaded ball of dough: here, his features are gradually sinking into one another, converging upon the centre of his face. The jovial if slightly bewildered look familiar to those who have seen him on television is giving way to a more peaceful lethargy, an expression eminently appropriate to the coming winter and the hibernation it may herald.
