The Egyptian-European Festival of Silent Movies with Live
Music is the first of its kind in Egypt. Ten countries are
participating with rare screenings of influential productions dating
from as early as 1914. And while the film and accompanying
music did not necessarily originate in the same package in the
case of the Italian entry, the film is accompanied by the original
