ALEXANDER 2000 is the title under which paintings and sculptures completed over a period of 12 years by Greek artist Farlamess are exhibited at the Palace of Art in the Opera House grounds. The exhibition draws its inspiration from the memory of Alexander the Great who, in the artist's words, was one of those great human beings able to have an impact on the culture of a universal humanity.
The Alexandria Atelier hosts an exhibition of paintings, drawings and sculptures by 18 Cairene artist-critics including Hussein Bikar, Sobhi El-Sharouni, Makram Henein, Esmat Dawistashi and Ibrahim Abdel-Malak.
