Khan El-Maghrabi's exhibition of ceramic pieces by Mohamed Mandour displayed the elegance of form so typical of Mandour's work, to which has been added a delicate decorative sense, giving many of the works the feel of fin-de-siecle metal work.
The Opera House Gallery's retrospective of paintings and drawings by Sayed Saadeddin spanned a period of 30 years yet even so betrayed stylistic consistency: an intriguing play of light and shadow over essentially sculptural forms. Reviewed by Nagwa El-Ashri
