LITHOGRAPHS by Ahmed Ragab Saqr are on show at the Art Appreciation Palace, Alexandria. The human face and marine life form the subject of these, both of which give the artist a wide scope for displaying his linear virtuousity. Saqr's lines alternate between the supple and the sharp, depending on the facial expression he is attempting to capture. The dialogue established between brown, yellow and green, the interesting manipulation of light and shade and the attentiveness to detail all serve to intensify mood.
