BEYOND SKIN DEEP: American actress Brooke Shields was in Cairo this week literally lending an ear to the producers of an ambitious international multi-media project called Listen, which is attempting to draw awareness to the problems of children in both the developed and developing world. Brooke spent two days listening to Egyptian children tell their stories and told the Weekly's Tarek Atia that she had never seen "children give kisses so freely."
