Ingredients:
500gms veal steaks (thick cuts)
1/4kg yellow cheese (slices)
1/4kg cold cuts (slices)
4tbsp onion juice
white flour
2 eggs (beaten)
dash of milk
bread crumbs
oil for frying
salt + pepper + allspice + thyme + 1tsp mustard
Method:
With a sharp knife make an opening on one side of each steak, enough to insert the filling. Marinate the steaks in the onion juice and all the spices on the bottom line of in-redients for a couple of hours. Fill each steak with a slice of cold cuts and a slice of cheese. Thread along the opening with a tooth-pick. Coat with flour. Dip into the eggs added to the milk, then coat with bread crumbs. Deep-fry in very hot oil until goldened and remove on kitchen paper towels. Remove the tooth-pick. Serve with french fries and a green salad.
