Alexander Molostov
The opening of the 11th Youth Salon in the Palace of Art, located in the Opera House grounds, invariably provokes controversy. Only 170 works, out of a total of 13,000 submitted, were selected for exhibition. First prizes went to Howeida El-Seba'i (painting), Tarek Abdel-Megid (graphics), Hani El-Sayed Ahmed (sculpture), Hazem El-Mistikawi (installation), El-Sharnoubi Mohamed Amin (pottery), Samah El-Leithi (photography), and Amr Abdel-Kerim (computer graphics).
The Doroub Gallery's Summer and Art collective exhibition includes works by two Russian artists, painter Melina Alexandrovna and sculptor Alexander Molostov, as well as the work of six Egyptian artists, including pottery by Mohamed Mandour and paintings by Mohamed El-Tarawi.
