RECOGNISING NOBILITY: On the occasion of Nurse Day, Sunday, Mrs Suzanne Mubarak officiated at a celebration organised by the Nursing Association at Nasser Hospital in Shubra, a northern Cairo district, reports Rania Khallaf. Addressing the ceremony, Mrs Mubarak said that health care is one of the pillars of social progress and vital for the development of human resources.
"I was keen on attending this celebration to show recognition of the noble human role played by nurses as well as the continuous efforts made by officials to raise the standard of the nursing profession," Mrs Mubarak said. "The level of health care is not only an indicator of a society's scientific and social progress, but is also proof of its respect for basic human rights."
