Anwar El-Sadat
As we commemorate the 6 October victory and remember the soldiers who died to liberate Sinai, a face looms large in the collective memory: that of the late president, Anwar El-Sadat. I drew him as a bust reposing on a solid pedestal, the characteristic moustache bristling and his trusty pipe clamped between his teeth.
