Pepper and beef kebabs

Ingredients:


1/2kg beef sirloin steak (1in cubes)
2 large onions (cut into 8 wedged pieces)
1 medium green, red and yellow bell pepper (cut into 1in squares)
8 large button mushrooms
2tsp mustard
2tbsp fresh lemon juice
salt + pepper + sweet paprika + oregano
1tbsp olive oil

Method:

Whisk together oil, lemon, mustard and spices. Add beef, bell pepper and mushrooms. Mix well with sauce. Marinate overnight in fridge, covered. Alternately thread pieces of beef, bell pepper and mushrooms on wooden skewers until the quantity is finished. Place skewers over broiler; top stove or oven broiler. Broil, turning skewers occasionally until beef is done. Serve on skewer with oriental rice of pasta and a rich green salad.

Optional: Burn a piece of charcoal, put if off with a drop of oil (away from flame) and place it among the done beef skewers, covered, for 5 minutes, then serve.
