The Gamila Gallery in Maadi has recently offered art lovers the rare opportunity to contemplate oil painting and bronze sculpture in one and the same space. The latest works of sculptor Mahmoud Shukri and painter David H White further strike a contrary, stimulating chord, embodying intercultural interaction at its visual best.
