The general guidebook with the best section on Sinai is the recently published The Rough Guide to Egypt, part of the Rough Guides series; LE72A cheaper option is Egypt: A Practical Guide (Tehuti Research Foundation) but this only has a couple of vague pages on Sinai; LE15. This book can be found at Al-Shoruq Bookstore on Tahrir Square.
