Around the galleries
The Duroub Gallery in Garden City is holding its annual collective exhibition, this time entitled "Summer 2000". The problem with Duroub is that there is not enough space. Nevertheless, the impression that art works are crammed on top of each other does not take away from the multifarious pleasures that "Summer 2000" has to offer -- painting, ceramics, sculpture and multimedia. There are even modern reproductions in fabric of the famous Fayoum portraits.
