One million Moroccans march
One million Moroccans marched through the kingdom's capital on Sunday to express solidarity with Palestinians and condemn "Zionist aggression" in the Israeli-occupied territories.
Moroccan Prime Minister Abdel-Rahman Youssoufi and a handful of ministers led the huge crowd, which burned Israeli flags and carried pictures of the Dome of the Rock in Arab East Jerusalem. Spontaneous unauthorised demonstrations occurred in other cities, but they were dispersed by anti-riot police. The government only gave the go-ahead for the march in Rabat.
