Chicken with rosemary

Ingredients:


1 medium chicken (halved)
6 potatoes, cut into wedges
1 leek, trimmed and sliced
1 knob garlic (separ-ted and unpeeled)
2 stems fresh rose-ary (leaves re-oved)
1 cup white wine
salt + pepper

Method:

Arrange potatoes, leek and garlic in a large ovenproof dish. Sprinkle with half of the rosemary leaves. Top with seasoned chicken, skin side up. Pour over wine, sprinkle with re-aining rosemary and re-season. Bake in a moderate oven (180°C) for one hour, basting occa-ionally. Serve with salad and vegetables.
