Saeb Ereikat

Saeb Ereikat

Will he laugh, or must he weep? As the chief Palestinian negotiator, Saeb Ereikat is literally torn apart by the dismemberment of his country. His face reflects diametrically opposed emotions -- halfway between a smile and a frown, it must freeze in confusion. His natural tendency is towards optimism; yet a tear finds its way to his eye. How can he succumb to hope when his people are dying to be free?
