Reviewed by Nagwa El-Ashri Satoshi Hasegawa, one of the icons of the contemporary artistic movement in Japan, exhibits prints at the Gezira Art Centre's Ragheb Ayyad and Ahmed Sabri galleries. First-prize winner at the third Cairo Graphic Triennale, previously held at the Gezira Centre, Hasegawa shows new works characterised by an innovative and radical approach. Resorting to chemical ingredients and steel brushes to manipulate his photographs -- among many other tools -- Hasegawa has created a richly diverse collection of works focusing on the theme of the home.
