11th round of the
Cairo International Film Festival for ChildrenOn Tuesday Minister of Culture Farouk Hosni inaugurated the 11th round of the Cairo International Film Festival for Children. Four artists who have made memorable contributions to the genre were honoured: the late singer-composer Mohamed Fawzi, graphic artist Mohieddin El-Labbad, journalist Nutaila Rashed (known to her predominantly small readership as Mama Lubna) and actress Karima Mukhtar. Bringing together children's cinema from all over the world, the festival also showcases the latest productions of the Radio and Television Union. Below is the programme

Screenings at cinemas are at 9am & 11am; those at the Cairo Opera House Small Hall are at 11am. The 9am Al-Haram Cinema screening is for disabled children.
