GENERAL: Personally, I find The Rough Guide to Egypt in the Rough Guide series to be the best in terms of practical information -- available at the American University in Cairo bookstore. A much cheaper alternative is Egypt: A Practical Guide (Tehuti Research Foundation), but this only has a couple of vague pages on Sinai. Can be found at Al-Shorouq bookstore, Downtown.
