Donald Rumsfeld's face could be an aircraft carrier, so sharply are its contours hewn and so severe its lines. Perhaps he can launch missiles by twitching his nose; he has only to bare his teeth, at any rate, for the winds of wrath to sweep across Afghanistan, leaving it desolate.
