Ever dapper, ever bright-eyed, French President Jacques Chirac is beaming in welcome. His entire face seems to be reaching out to greet President Mubarak: his lips are curved in a smile that his other features echo, from the arc of his nose and chin to the rounded lines of cheeks and brow.
