Masri ana/Mon Egypte à moi -- an exhibition of black and white photographs by the French photographer Thierry Gicquel -- will open at Arabesque art gallery on Sunday 31 March and will run until 27 April. Gicquel's images, including the one above, which graces the exhibition poster, have often appeared on the pages of Al-Ahram Weekly.

Arabesque, 6 Kasr El-Nil St, daily 12.30pm-4pm and 7.30pm-midnight
