Emile Lahoud

Lebanon's Emile Lahoud is the picture of laconic elegance, keeping his cool as the summit's excitement swirls all about and Israel's irrational violence swarms nearby. His features may be smooth and rounded, but I finished off the contours of his face with sharp, well-defined strokes of the pen, lest anyone be taken in by his phlegmatic air of indifference.
