ELABORATE, naive: decorated Ferris wheels and swings will make an appearance on the streets of popular quarters across the country today and tomorrow as Mulid Al-Nabi, the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet Mohamed, is celebrated. Carted on wheels, the swings and Ferris wheels are pulled by donkeys or horses to their various street locations.

The Mulid falls on Friday, the normal weekly holiday, but a government decree has made Thursday a holiday as well.
