On a tour of the libraries set up by the Integrated Care Society (ICS) in Giza on Tuesday, Mrs Suzanne Mubarak said the libraries established as part of the country's Reading for All programme, have given Egyptian children and youth the opportunity to nurture their talents and enrich their minds in a healthy environment.

Mrs Mubarak, who heads the non-profit ICS, visited the Bahr Al-A'azam and the Khaled Ibn Al-Walid Libraries in Kit Kat and the Suzanne Mubarak Library in Agouza. Her visit aimed to follow up on progress made in upgrading these libraries, as part of the 12th annual Reading for All Festival launched last month.

During her tour, Mrs Mubarak said she was visiting the libraries to learn first hand of the needs of children and youth who frequent the facilities and to listen to their views.
