HORIZON ONE is showing a retrospective of the works of the late Inji Efflatoun (1923-1989), the paintings on show selected from the collection donated by the artist's family and intended for permanent exhibition. The final home of the collection is likely to be in the Citadel district, though no final plans have yet been made. The collection at Horizon One -- open until 3 October -- includes examples from her early surrealist works alongside later paintings. Conspicuously absent are paintings from her prison period (1959-1964).
