No-Bake Cornflake Chews

Ingredients:
2 cups cornflakes
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/3 cup honey
3/4 cup slivered almonds
3/4 cup chopped glacé cherries
100 gms. milk or dark chocolate (melted)
50 gms. butter
Method:
Combine sugar, honey and butter in a saucepan. Stir constantly over medium heat until butter melts and sugar dissolves. Bring to the boil. Remove immediately from heat. add cornflakes, almonds and cherries. Press tablespoonfuls of mixture onto a greased tray. Refrigerate until firm. Spread each biscuit with chocolate on each side and re- refrigerate until chocolate is firm, then serve.
