Sufra Dayma
French Toast

Ingredients:
8 slices of white toast (crust removed and halved in triangles)
4 eggs (lightly beaten)
Vanilla
1/4 cup milk
1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
125 gms. butter
Maple syrup
Icing sugar
Method:
Melt butter in a wide frying pan. Dip each slice of bread into combined eggs, vanilla, nutmeg and milk. Fry bread slices on each side to golden brown. Remove on paper towels. Serve immediately with maple syrup and lightly dusted with icing sugar. Serve with halved strawberries and a scoop of ice-cream (optional).
