25 June: Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrest more than 130 Palestinian civilians in Hebron and bulldoze one house in Rafah.

In an open letter to Israeli PM Ariel Sharon, the International Secretariat of the World Organisation Against Torture expresses its concern over Israel's use of torture against Palestinian prisoners.

Israeli settlers erect new settlement outpost in the northern West Bank near an outpost dismantled by IOF last week.

26 June: According to figures released by the Palestine Red Crescent Society and Magen David Adom, 2,398 Palestinians and 704 Israelis have been killed in the first 1000 days since the start of Al-Aqsa Intifada. Another 23,150 Palestinians and 4,849 Israelis have been wounded.

IOF injure two Palestinian children in Beit Hanoun and two teenagers are wounded after IOF open fire on stone throwers in Balata refugee camp.

Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigade claims responsibility for shooting death of an Israeli near the Israeli-Arab town of Baqat Al- Gharbieh. IOF kill two Palestinians and arrest two others in the same area.

No casualties are reported after Palestinian resistance fighters fire two Qassam rockets on southern Israeli town of Sedorot.

27 June: Fatah, Islamic Jihad and Hamas agree on a joint framework for a truce with Israel which they will present to PM Mahmoud Abbas and to Qatar, Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

Israeli high court issues temporary order preventing IOF from dismantling settlement outposts.

IOF raid home of alleged Hamas bomb- maker Adnan Al-Ghoul in central Gaza. Four Palestinians and one IOF soldier are killed in the operation and Al-Ghoul's family home is demolished. IOF bulldoze the home of northern Gaza PA police chief, dynamite family home of a Hamas activist in the West Bank, and damage farmland in Jabalyia.

US intensifies pressure on EU and Arab states to completely halt support of Palestinian resistance groups.

Channel 2 TV in Israel reports that Israeli government has funneled money from its agriculture budget to pay both for the establishment and dismantling of illegal West Bank settlement outposts.

28 June: US National Security Advisor Condoleezza Rice meets with PM Abbas in Jericho.

Hundreds of Palestinians demonstrate in Ramallah to demand the release of political prisoners from Israeli jails.

29 June: Palestinian factions, except the Palestinian Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), reach a conditional three-month truce with Israel.

IOF begin troop redeployment from Beit Hanoun.

Fatah demands that Israel redeploy its troops to the positions they held prior to 28 September 2000.

30 June: IOF open main road connecting northern and southern Gaza and begin redeployment from the Strip. IOF will remain in areas surrounding settlements and will build a buffer zone between Israeli troops and PA security forces.

Palestinian gunmen open fire on Israeli truck near a northern West Bank settlement, killing one Bulgarian worker.

1 July: IOF shoot one Palestinian dead near Tulkarm checkpoint.

Israeli defense minister confirms that IOF will redeploy from Bethlehem on 2 July.

Israeli PM Sharon and his Palestinian counterpart Abbas meet to discuss implementation of the roadmap.
