AN EXHIBITION of work by Al-Ahram photographer Sherif Sonbol opened at the Lincoln Centre, New York, on 8 September. More than 30 photographs, drawn from the last two decades, are included in the show which runs for five weeks. The majority of images are of dance performances -- Sonbol is also the official photographer at the National Cultural Centre (Cairo Opera House) -- though photographs taken from moulids are also included.
