Mahfouz's birthday

AS NAGUIB MAHFOUZ enters his 93rd year celebrations abound. All of which brings to mind a singular Al-Ahram party, held more than four decades before by the then Editor-in-Chief Mohamed Hassanein Heikal to mark Mahfouz's 50th birthday.
