Once people born under the Cardinal Fire sign of Aries (21 Mar - 21 Apr) have decided on a particular course of action, they are like an unstoppable juggernaut.
Conflicts of interest are at the root of many public rows. And, Imhotep predicts that the second half of March is a period when Arians will hotly contest decisions made by both superiors and subordinates which the impulsive Rams deem not to be in their best interests.
The Rams shall rise against injustice with typical bravado. They shall fight for their rights with a ferocity that will take both friend and foe by surprise.
Arians will claim their stellar right to natural leadership. Imhotep sees some Rams rising to fame and fortune in April in spite of their impetuosity. Mid-April is particularly advantageous to Arians. Especially favoured are Rams who have Aries in the Ascendant. Boundless energy will propel Rams forward. Arians love to lead the parade and in late March and early April they will do so for all to see and applaud.
But, my dear Rams, don't overlook the rights of less assertive, less fortunate beings. Arians sometimes need to be reminded that success is a collective effort. Conflicts of interest partly arise from the difficulty which many self-assertive people have in recognising that more often than not success is a collective effort.
Typical Arians have a tendency to be bossy and self-righteous. These negative character traits must be contained in April. Totally selfish attitudes must be discarded at all costs. The wisest Arians this April are the pleasant, self-possessed Rams.
Imhotep understands that Arians find it hard to control their emotions. Take heart, dear Rams. Love will triumph in April. Anger will subside somewhat by the beginning of the month and the attention of Arians will focus squarely on their love life.
Aflame with passion, Arians will attract the attention of the objects of their desire in April. All is not smooth sailing, however. A lover's tiff, is a distinct possibility.
Still, by the end of the month, Rams will force their lovers to submit to their carnal desires in unique and unusual ways. Arian passions run especially high this April. Rest assured, loved ones will give Arians their due. Imhotep knows that nothing pleases a Ram better than a good deal of adulation from friends and lovers. For the single Arians, April is a month when new relationships will blossom, and old flames rekindled with indescribable incandescence.
People born under the Fixed Earth sign of Taurus (22 Apr - 22 May) might have felt a little frustrated, frightened and adrift in the past few months. Most Bulls can easily handle the problems that crop up before them in their everyday lives. But some Taureans have more than a little difficulty with decision-making as they try to discern what is best practice and fair dealing.
Taureans like to play fair. They instinctively prefer not to tread on others' toes. Slow to anger, they are generally good-natured except when crossed. Then, and only then, do they charge like the Bulls they truly are.
By late March, the proverbial Taurean patience will be tested to the limit. Most Bulls, however, will not lose their cool. Their innate sense of caution will stand them in good stead.
Taureans are adroit at flattering others. Tactful and diplomatic, April will present many opportunities for the Bulls to practice the delicate art of diplomacy. Taureans like to base their interpersonal relationships on a philosophical premise: they understand perfectly that friendships are a two-way street.
Less understanding people might accuse Bulls of dabbling in the devious art of political spinning. In April, Taureans will triumph in office politics. Many will count on the Bulls' good offices to raise important matters at meetings.
In the emotional sphere, Bulls are less confident in April. Their natural instinct is to be deeply apprehensive about change. Yet at this particular point in time, they yearn for change. In April, the Taureans' forceful resistance to change will peter out and they will at long last begin to enjoy the refreshing taste of the new.
People born under the Mutable Air sign of Gemini (23 May - 22 Jun) have a difficult month ahead. The Twins, as Geminians are called, are often impatient, restless people. The greatest challenge Geminians face in April is to show a singleness of mind and purpose.
There are two points at issue here: life is about give and take. Geminians must learn how to be magnanimous -- not only in a material sense, but to give liberally of their time and emotions. The terrible twosome must desist from reckless acts of selfish impulse. A word of warning Geminians: keep your distance from grumpy old men this March, even if you are one yourself. Incidentally, the same advise applies to Taureans.
