The unpredictable and often windy Coptic month of Amshir comes to a close in mid-March and the Khamaseen Winds are upon us. Here we go again, leaping merrily out of the frying pan and into the fire. Curiously enough, people born under the Cardinal Water sign of Cancer (22 Jun-22 Jul) are destined to find peace and quiet during the turbulent Khamaseen. As the world tosses and turns about them, they shall weather the sandstorms far better than people born under other zodiac signs.
Many Crabs have had a trying period in February and they can look forward to a less stressful April. The wilder the Khamaseen winds howl outside, the calmer the Cancerians will feel within.
The Khamaseen Winds blow across Egypt for 50 days in April and May. These are hot, dusty winds which ruin the country's spring. The raging weather, the red skies -- an ominous reminder of Armageddon -- is a time for the renewal of spirit for Cancerians.
Calm and collected Cancerians will be in a perfect position to comfort those around them suffering the ill-tidings the Khamaseen brings. The natural tendency for the Cancerian to mother and nurse will be especially appreciated by loved ones. Those near and dear will confide their fears to Cancerians who will provide warmth and solace.
March is a month in which the Crabs, as Cancerians are called, will prosper. Crabs, Imhotep predicts, will receive an unexpected sum of money or a gift in March.
Typical Crabs are secretive and very private creatures. Some Cancerians would not divulge an intimate secret to their closest friends. The more loved ones try to get a Cancerian to talk about their innermost feelings, the more they retreat back into their shells.
Others, however, confide in Crabs. Cancerians know how to keep a secret and friends and family, in particular, appreciate this Cancerian character trait.
Cautious Cancerians will have a chance to hedge their bets on an all important decision in April. Crabs are not by nature risk-takers, but April provides interesting opportunities for Cancerians to win a gamble.
Cancerians will once again prove to the world that they are made of tougher stuff.
People born under the Fixed Fire sign of Leo (23 Jul-22 Aug) have an eye for a quirky situation and know how to exploit it to the full. Health concerns in late February and early March will slow down the normally energetic Leonians. But not to worry, Lions, Imhotep forecasts a clean bill of health by late March and early April.
By late March, many Leonians will be back to their old sprightly selves. Typical Leos will claw their way up from despair to triumph and celebration this April. The end of the month is an especially favourable time for Leonians who will dine and party in style, for Leos have a weakness for ostentatious living.
Few can escape the clutches of a Lion. There is a ruthless streak in every Leonian. Leos do not suffer fools gladly, and the next few weeks will see Lions dressing down other frivolous and incompetent creatures.
The world is wide and rich with opportunities for Leonians this April. Few Leonians will fail to make good their self-regeneration this April. As they claw their way back to health and potency, their spirits will soar.
In March and early April the Lions will achieve a fine balance between pathos and hilarity. Towards the end of March, Leonians will triumph over adversity, turning loss into success by sheer force of will.
Lions cannot be kept on the sidelines. And, in April they shall demonstrate their uncanny ability to put less adroit creatures squarely in their place.
The Lions are always prepared to take action.
