POPE Shenouda III conducted Easter mass early Sunday at the Abbasiya Cathedral. The service was attended by hundreds of Coptic Christians who ended their period of fasting from all meat and animal products, which lasts up to 55 days for the strictest Copts. Following the three-hour service, worshippers gathered with family and friends and enjoyed the festivities.
