Tournaments

Upcoming golf tournaments in Egypt:

The Egyptian Golf Federation

March: The annual Egyptian Open Championship for men, held since 1921, and the Nefertiti Cup for women.

October to May : Men's League and Ladies League in which Cairo's six major golf clubs compete.

Dream Land Golf and Tennis Resort

30 April: Fifth Dream Land Classic tournament open to all amateur golfers.

Golf City

23 April: Golf City 4 Ball Texas Scramble tournament for men and women.

Katameya Heights Golf and Tennis resort

Members' tournament held every third Thursday of the month. It is a social event for members and non-members: each team competes in solving a quiz.

April : An annual tournament in which the Katameya Heights team plays the JW Mirage team.

Mirage City

All clubs in Cairo and Alexandria participate in the Scratch League that takes place every month.

During the second week of each month Mirage City also organises a tournament.

Mena House Oberoi

A monthly tournament open to members only.

Steigenberger Golf and Fitness Club

From 1 May onwards and for 399 euros, a person could stay in the resort for seven nights in a double room on a half-board basis with unlimited use of the golf facilities.
