On 21 June the French Cultural Centre, in cooperation with Cairo Opera House and the Cairo Governorate, will stage a music festival in the El-Ryadi Gardens, Zamalek. From 6.30pm onwards, the programme includes, among others, Donia Massoud, Fathy Salama, the Upper Egyptian Troupe and, pictured, M, the stage name of Matthieu Chédid, one of France's most popular singers.
