CIFET awards


THIS YEAR the best performance award went jointly to the Dutch show Bambie and the Lebanese director Siham Nasser's They Are All Here. Bambie also received the best director award, which went to Liz van der Klen, while the best actress and best actor awards went, respectively, to the Algerian-born Karima Nait for her performance in the Al-Hanager produced Echo, conceived and directed by Mohamed Shafiq, and Ermin Bravo for his performance in the Bosnian show Helver's Night. Algeria's The Saying of the Drum received the best script award, and Iraq's Sorry, Sir, I Didn't Mean It the best ensemble award.
