Not much in the heads of Arabs these Ramadan days except food. Amgad Rasmi in the Saudi-funded Asharq Al-Awsat ; Mohamed Omar of Egypt's Akher Saa' . It's that time of year when cannons are going off. In Ramadan, to mark the end of the fast, but so too they are being fired by the United States and Israel at Iraqis and Palestinians. "Isn't it cool that our cannons are going off at the same time?"
