Another win
EGYPTIAN wrestler Karam Gaber, who won a gold medal in the Athens Olympics, has tied the knot. Gaber, who swept his 96-kilo division to collect Egypt's first gold at an Olympics in 56 years, married Irena from Belarus whom he met during a world wrestling championship in Russia almost three years ago. Gaber, 26, became an overnight celebrity after defeating Georgian Ramaz Nozadze for the gold, his face appearing on huge billboards in Cairo's downtown area. He was also received by President Hosni Mubarak.
The medal was Egypt's first of the Games in 20 years and upped the country's gold medal tally in Olympic history to seven. Gaber, centre, is flanked by Irena and Alexandria Governor Mohamed El-Mahgoub
