EGYPT have their work cut out in Group D where they face Argentina, the United States and Germany in this year's World Youth Championship.

Nigeria also have been handed a tough assignment after being drawn against Brazil. The African champions have been drawn in Group F where their other opponents being South Korea and Switzerland.

Debutantes Benin are the biggest surprise among the four African teams heading to The Netherlands. They have an equally difficult task in Group A against the hosts and Japan.

While avoiding some of the big teams, Morocco face a tough trio of matches in Group C, against Spain, Honduras and Chile.

FIFA deputy general secretary Jerome Champagne presided over the draw which divided the 24 finalists into six groups of four. The top two in each pool, plus the four best third-place finishers will advance to the knock-out second round.

This event is second only in terms of size to the men's World Cup among FIFA competitions.

FIFA's flagship tournament in youth football runs from 10 June to 2 July in six venues -- Doetinchem, Emmen, Enschede, Kerkrade, Tilburg and Utrecht.

All four African sides going to Holland were semi- finalists at the African Youth Championship held in Benin in January.

Group A: Benin, Netherlands, Japan, Australia

Group B: Turkey, China, Ukraine, Panama

Group C: Morocco, Spain, Honduras, Chile

Group D: Egypt, Argentina, United States, Germany

Group E: Colombia, Italy, Syria, Canada

Group F: Nigeria, Brazil, South Korea, Switzerland
