The new ambitious project, located in the educational zone of Sixth of October City, is to be realised in three stages that will be inaugurated one at a time. Mrs Mubarak oversaw progress in the first stage, which included carving caves into mountains and creating icebergs, wild life areas, lakes and a children's park.

The city's second stage includes the building of technology, science, geology, civilisations and deep sea museums. The third and final stage should include a centre for the talented, a centre for the production of scientific movies and an observatory.

The inauguration by Mrs Mubarak is but one aspect of her personal effort to enhance notions of free learning and education among children.
