Q: I am looking for a four-star hotel in Sharm El-Sheikh with a double room for eight nights, from 15 September on an all- inclusive basis. Can you guide me to the best deal?

A: Since Sharm El-Sheikh is offering discounts these days, you can easily strike a deal on how many nights you want without stretching your budget (see 'Same Sharm, same charm', pp. 1&2).

Your best bet is Cataract Resort Layalina, (+2069 360 1820). A double room is for LE280 instead of LE420 per night. The resort lies in Neama Bay right on the beach.
