A FAMILY AFFAIR: "Dibo and Mioo", an exhibition of comics by Alaa Lotfi at the Cairo Atelier, drew an unusual number of viewers, mostly children, writes Nader Habib. Young exhibition-goers have in recent years been following the antics of the cast of characters jointly conceived by Lotfi and his wife Nashwa as they unfolded in a number of comics magazines. The most popular of the cartoon characters are Dibo, the wolf, and Mioo, the lamb who, far from being sheepish, exercises much cunning in avoiding being devoured by Dibo. Then there is Sehs, the perennial aspiring actor, whose search for fame and fortune forever lands him in tight corners. A workshop for children will be held on the last day of the exhibition, tomorrow, 10 March, from 5pm to 10pm.
