Prime Minister Jawad Al-Maliki is a man of character, and that is all too apparent from the contours of his strong features. He is bold, but he is also benevolent. You can tell from his proud posture, direct gaze, easy manner and the all-apparent self-confidence. He is the man of the moment in contemporary Iraq. He is a Shia Arab, but the hopes of all Iraqis are pinned on his just and wise leadership. parent page (27 April - 3 May 2006, issue #792) |
