ON SATURDAY, Egypt's youth team flew to Shanghai, China, to take part in the World Youth Modern Pentathlon Championship scheduled from 8 to 13 August. The team comprises Ahmed Nasser, president of the federation, head coach Awad Sami and female pentathletes Ayah Medani, Yasmine Khaled and Reem El-Sayed. The trio were invited by the Chinese Federation after their outstanding results at the European Championship, taking first place at the 17-nation tournament.
