TEENAGER Anna Chakvetadze continued her superb run of form to upset fifth seed Nadia Petrova in the final of the Kremlin Cup in Moscow on Sunday.
The 19-year-old Russian, right, beat her compatriot 6-4 6-4 to take her second career title following victory in Guangzhou two weeks ago. Petrova was playing with groin and chest injuries and could not cope with her in- form opponent.
Chakvetadze broke twice in each set as she won in one hour 30 minutes.
"I was a bit lucky today as Nadia was not 100 per cent fit," said Chakvetadze. "Nevertheless, I'm happy to win at home."
Petrova said: "I'm not going to make a tragedy out of this. I did what I could today. I had three parts of my body taped before the match and it obviously affected my play and limited my movement."
