The mischievous Jewish French politician Nicolas Sarkozy has a wicked and sly smile. Does he know he is going to win, for sure? I think that he has an inkling that he has a good chance of winning. However, his Socialist Party rival, the beautiful Ségolène Royal, is still no easy walkover. Sarkozy's references to the "rabble" and "scum" -- meaning none other than the immigrants that sparked the Paris race riots -- have not made him popular with the country's African, Arab and Muslim communities. I illustrated him with a long, twisted and beaky nose. Still, Sarkozy might go down in history as the contemporary Disraeli of French politics.
